Want to be a Pro Wrestler?

Things to Consider

Our 12 week initial training program will test you.  It  will push your limits at times.  Many people who have come through the doors of SOM have appeared on AEW, NWA & WWE. The information below is designed to help you set expectations for yourself.  Please read the information carefully to know what we expect and what you should expect!

What Should You Expect?

You should expect the following things from training for professional wrestling:
  • You will be pushed in every class to improve your cardio.  Wrestling can be extremely intense, and it is critical that you are willing to always be improving your endurance and strength.
  • You will be given honest feedback on a regular basis to help you keep your goals realistic.
  • You will be asked to do things that may be uncomfortable at the time, but will get easier with time.
  • You will be asked to develop health routines that may be nutrition and fitness based.  These are to help you improve your overall health and agility.
  • You will be asked to focus on your trainers, allow distractions to fade away for the time you are with us.  This is critical as we will be teaching you how to work properly in and out of a wrestling ring.

Your Investment

It is important to realize that the cost of training is more than money, it is an investment in your future's potential.

The cost of training with us is $2000.  This investment will help you define your early wrestling career and give you opportunities, if you work for them.  You need to have reliable transportation, as missing even one class can be a set back.  Prepare early for this financial commitment, as financial stress can hinder you.  Training should be a fun, exciting experience for you, and stress will keep you from focusing.

MEET THE TRAINING TEAM

Kenzie Paige

Head Trainer

Kenzie Paige has accomplished so much — in such a short time. At only 23-years-old,  she captured the National Wrestling Alliance Women’s World Championship. She was also the first NWA Women's TV Champion, and held the NWA Women's World Tag Team Championship, making her the first woman to ever be an NWA Grand Slam Champion.  In addition, Kenzie has also appeared in AEW.

Trained by Dr. Tom Prichard and RIcky Morton, Kenzie brings a hard hitting style to training.  Originally from Sevierville, Kenzie and her sister Kylie have helped bring attention to East Tennessee as a wrestling training mecca.  Having Kenzie follow in Ricky & Doc's footsteps and lead the  next generation of wrestlers is a dream come true!

KC Cazana

ASSISTANT TRAINER

KC Cazana is a third generation wrestler and current NWA star. Prior to joining the NWA, he played division 2 football and won the South Atlantic conference championship. He made his professional debut almost two years ago after graduating from JPWA under the legendary learning tree of Dr. Tom Prichard. Since then,  he has teamed with his older brother AJ Cazana as one half of the dominant tag team, The Country Gentlemen.  He has  performed for many well known regional NWA promotions including NWA-JCP, NWA Exodus Pro, NWA Krossfire, NWA Chicago, as well as SOM. In his first year in the industry, he added five title reigns to his resume and competed against some of the best in the world including Mike Knox, Trevor Murdoch, and even challenged EC3 for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. As a trainer, he aims to focus on developing fundamentals and precise footwork, which he believes to be the foundation of a well-rounded professional wrestler.
